Raspberry milkshakes are a tasty treat that are perfect all year round! But in this recipe we are calling out this milkshake as a special Valentine’s day surprise for the one you love. Take our Raspberry milkshake recipe and spice it up with some candy hearts with just the right saying to express your self – or even a perfect chocolate raspberry filled heart for an extra sweet touch.
We added a few cute heart accents to really give it that festive feel on top of some regular old whipped cream. This recipe is made for 2 so be sure to share with the one you love. Love the shake but not really a lovey dovey kind of gal and want to use different decorations?
Well, think outside the box – this is your chance to be creative!
For Christmas – add some candy trees or Santas and add a touch of mint drizzle. For Easter of course nothing would be better than a few bunnies a top a pile of whipped cream. Use your imagination and this is a recipe that will go a long way all year long.

Raspberry Sauce Ingredients:
- ½ bag frozen raspberries
- 3 TBSP sugar
- Medium pot
- Blender
Milkshake Ingredients:
- ½ bag frozen raspberries
- 1 TBSP sugar
- 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
- ½ C whole milk
- Blender
You can also use fresh raspberries of course which we strongly encourage if they are available in your area! With all of our recipes we always encourage use of the freshest vegetables and fruits if available!
Raspberry Sauce Directions:
1. Add frozen raspberries and sugar into a pot on medium heat. Constantly stir and cook for about 5 minutes or until the raspberries are soft.
2. Pour this into a blender and puree until it becomes smooth.
3. Pour into a lidded container and put into a refrigerator until ready to use.
Milkshake Directions:
1. Pour the frozen raspberries into a bowl. Sprinkle the tablespoon of sugar over the raspberries. Allow to thaw slightly. Set aside.
2. After the raspberries have thawed slightly put them into the blender.
3. Next, add the 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the blender and top it off with the milk.
4. Place the lid on the blender and run it until the raspberries, ice cream and milk have blended together.
5. Add more raspberries if the flavor is not strong enough.
6. Pour into glasses and top with freshly made whip cream.
7. Drizzle with freshly made raspberry sauce and top with candy hearts.
8. Enjoy!

Notes
If raspberries are in season we highly recommend using those instead of frozen to get that juicy sweet flavors that only in season fruits can deliver!
You will need a medium pot and blender to make the raspberry sauce and then the blender will be used again for the milkshake.
