Cast Iron Skillet Hot Fudge Brownie Recipe
National Hot Fudge Sundae Day: Ooh…another sundae day. This time hot fudge is the star. Having a cast iron skillet is a must for everyone. Whether you are making something at home, or you need some fun recipes for camping, the Cast Iron Skillet Triple Chocolate Hot Fudge Brownie Recipe is one that you can use for both.
Ingredients
- 5 oz semi sweet chocolate chips (Nestle brand)
- 2/3 C unsalted sweet cream butter,
- 1 3/4 C sugar
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 C flour
- 1/2 C semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 C milk chocolate chips
- pam spray
- Vanilla ice cream
- container of hot fudge to drizzle
- can of whipped cream
- mini oreos for garnish
- Makes 1 small to medium size cast iron
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Using a small sauce pan, melt the butter and 5 oz of chocolate chips on medium heat stirring consistently until melted.
3. Set aside to cool slightly.
4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until combined.
5. Gradually mix in the melted chocolate.
6. Slowly and in the flour.
7. Mix in 1/4 C each of the chocolate chips and semi sweet chocolate chips.
8. Spray your cast iron with pam spray and pour in your brownie mixture.
9. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips onto the top of the batter.
10. Place cast iron into the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
11. Once done, Let cool for 5 minutes.
12. Add scoops of ice cream into the center.
13. Add some whipped cream around the edge of the cast iron pan.
14. Drizzle with hot fudge.
15. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and mini oreos.
16. Serve with an ice cold glass of milk or coffee!
