Cookies and Cream Frozen Cocktail Recipe
Another frozen treat to mark the day. Happy National Coffee Milkshake Day! Today we are sharing a Cookies and Cream Frozen Cocktail Recipe. Technically it’s not a coffee milkshake but it’s made with a coffee liquor which makes it a coffee beverage. And you could add ice cream to it instead of just ice turning it into a coffee milkshake. 😉
When the weather gets hot, everyone wants to stay cool. It’s not because we don’t like the sun but there is such a notion as too much of a good thing.
While you’re thinking about ways to keep your body cool from the outside, don’t forget that you can also find refreshment in foods. In the winter, we eat hot foods to stay warm and filling ones to keep us satisfied. We warm from the inside out. Why should summer be any different?
Ingredients:
- 12 Oreo cookies
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 cups of Kahlua (or as desired)
- 1 cup of ice
- ½ cup of chocolate syrup
Directions:
1. Add Oreo cookies to a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
2. To a blender, add in milk, Kahlua, syrup and ice. Blend until smooth.
3. Pour mixture into a pitcher, and when ready to serve, add in crushed cookies.
Notes:
Makes for 3-4 servings.
