Fresh Strawberry Jello Pie Recipe! Yum! Who doesn’t love strawberries and jello? Valentine’s Day is upon us and not only is it Valentine’s Day but it’s also my wedding anniversary. So, I like to make my husband something special and something different every year. This year, I am making him a Fresh Strawberry Jello Pie.
This Fresh Strawberry Jello Pie recipe is not only great for Valentine’s Day but every other day also. It’s refreshing in the summertime and is a recipe that everyone will love. It’s easy to make and requires only a few simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
Ready made graham cracker crust. (Because I like to keep things easy!)
1 3 oz. box of Strawberry Jello.
1 8 oz. Tub of whipped topping.
2 cups fresh strawberries – diced.
2/3 cup of boiling water.
ice cubes.
1/2 cup of cold water.
Directions:
Dice strawberries into small chunks. Mix package of strawberry jello with 2/3 cups of boiling water. Mix until well dissolved. Add ice cubes to 1/2 cup of cold water to make 1 cup. Add to jello and stir until it starts getting firm. Remove remaining ice cubes.
Mix in cool whip and 1 cup of diced strawberries with a whisk until combined.
Place in refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Spoon into crust.
Refrigerate for approximately 6 hours.
Add remaining strawberries to top of pie.
Slice, top with more whip cream and enjoy!
