Easy Marshmallow Pops Recipe!
Easy Marshmallow Pops Recipe! It’s Valentine’s Day and when you have toddlers at home, you look for easy Valentine’s Day treats to make. The Marshmallow Pops recipe is just that…easy! I could have enlisted the help of the children but sometimes it’s just easier to do it yourself…during nap time! Sorry kids! They did enjoy eating them though.
All you need for the easy Marshmallow Pops are marshmallows, (your choice of color) I went with the pink ones just because, colored chocolate melts, (once again, your choice of colors) I chose white, pink and red although I don’t know that you could really tell once I put the jimmies and candies on them, sucker sticks, (you could use pretty straws, but I didn’t have any on hand) and jimmies and small candies and wax paper to lay them on.
Start by inserting the sucker sticks into the marshmallows.
Lay out your wax paper so it’s ready for the marshmallow pops once they are dipped. Melt your 1st chocolate color in the microwave.
Each microwave is different so you will have to judge how long to leave it in for. I put mine in for 30 seconds, stirred it and put it back in for another 30 seconds. I dipped my marshmallows in the melted chocolate and then into the jimmies and candy and placed them on the wax paper to harden.
Move on to the next color and repeat.
I placed mine in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to help them along. Then I placed them in a glass jar with some pink sprinkles in it to hold the sticks.
See..easy…peasy!
