If I have not said it before, I will say it again – I love my air fryer. Having dinner done and on the table in less than 10 minutes is like a dream come true. This air fryer salmon recipe is bursting with a great cajun flavor and is now a staple in our meal plan since everyone in the family loves it.

Air Fryer Salmon Recipe
With Valentine’s Day, Lent, and Ash Wednesday all being combined into one this year, this Air Fryer Cajun Salmon recipe is perfect for them all. And being Cajun, well, you know makes it perfect for Mardi Gras too.
I have done some great things with my air fryer like Air Fryer Chicken Fingers and even a whole chicken in the air fryer and everything has come out amazing! So I wanted to shake things up a little with and try a fish recipe instead. While I would not consider this a diet meal, I did calculate the Weight Watchers points since I am on WW and want to keep my points in check.

Serves 2 meals
Ingredients
- 2 (4 oz.) skinless Salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon of cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon

Instructions
- Pat dry the salmon fillets with a paper towel.

- Sprinkle Cajun Seasoning liberally on both sides of the fillet. I used McCormick brand Cajun season but you can make your own or use a different brand that suits your tastes.

- Drizzle a bit of oil of the fillets
- Grease the air fryer basket.
- Gently lay the fillets on it, in a single layer

- Air fry at 360 F for 6 minutes

- Serve immediately with a generous squeeze of lemon juice and a light salad.

Notes:
- The time taken to cook will depend on the thickness of the salmon. We have used 4 oz. fillet and 6 minutes was perfect. For 6 oz. 8 minutes will be good. Add another minute if you have a skin-on fillet and want a crispy skin.
- Pair your salmon with a small salad for a perfect light and healthy meal that is ready in just minutes.
