Garden Lites Gluten-Free Veggie Muffins
Update: Garden Lites also goes by the name “Veggies Made Great” since we originally reviewed their products. They have also greatly expanded their product line beyond just their muffins!
When I first heard about the Garden Lites Gluten-Free Veggie Muffins, I was kind like yeah- no thanks. Unfortunately vegetables are not a part of my normal diet – I am not an unhealthy eater and do my fair share of fruits and grains, but veggies are really not my thing.
I do not have any gluten issues thankfully – but I do know it is not the best thing in the world for you – and as I am getting older, I am trying really hard to be a good girl. So when this review offer popped up I figured I would give it a go.
This is not a product I would normally by or even try because I hate wasting money on food – and if I did not like them I knew I would be throwing money away.
Initial Thoughts On The Veggie Muffins
When they arrived, I opened the box and was pleasantly surprised how appealing they looked in real life. They actually looked as good as they did on the website and that is nothing that really happens that often.
I received 5 boxes including Corn, Carrot Berry, Veggie Blueberry, Zucchini Banana Chip and Zucchini Chocolate. I dug into the Carrot Berry first because I am a huge berry lover and this one appealed to my taste buds the most.
Because they were thawed I only put it in for about 10 seconds and it the smell was amazing! If you heat them frozen it will take about 35 seconds!

Garden Lites Muffins Taste
OMG! These carrot berry muffins tasted amazing!
Yes, I was shocked. I expected dry and bland – but it was neither of those items. They were most and had a burst of flavors that made my taste buds dance.
Each muffin is minimal in Weight Watchers points too which helps me stay on track.
The Smart Points for the Carrot Berry is just 5 and each muffin is only 100 calories. The muffin is also allergy friendly being gluten, soy, peanut and tree nut free.

The Garden Lites Veggie Muffins are definitely an item every health and allergy conscious food lover will want in their freezer. You can find them in most major supermarkets and as of this writing they have 8 amazing flavor combinations to choose from!
Most of the muffins have zucchini and carrots in them but you will never know – and neither will the kids!

I love the fact that they are are gluten-free, vegetarian, low in calories, high in fiber and Kosher Parve.
Plus, they can be eaten at room temperature for a snack anytime. They will be great when we are on the road and a great alternative to a donut, because I get sweet cravings all the time!
The veggie muffins aren’t overly sweet and even if I have two, it’s still less points than a donut!

Update: It looks like the corn muffin version is no longer available, but I am keeping there here because I still think it will help others see how good these muffins are!
I was a little nervous to try the corn veggie muffins because I am NOT a fan of cornbread, and that’s what I thought they were.
But no, they are actual corn veggie muffins – .with corn like corn on the cob in them. I can’t explain to you how good these are, because you probably think, oh, they can’t be that good…but they are.
And you will never just how good they are until you try them for yourself.
I paired them with the Gorton’s Artisan Fillets and had a complete meal for only 10 Weight Watchers Points Plus. And I was full when I was done.

If you look below you can see actual pieces of corn in the Garden Lites Veggie Muffins!
