We used to go camping all the time and I loved the smell of campfires. But I hated having to go in search of wood. We also had a wood burning fireplace in our house and every year we would get a couple cords of wood, make sure we got them at the beginning of winter.
Then we would have to carry it all into the backyard. I dreaded that every year. We have a little bit of property behind our house so we can have a little fire pit to have a campfire.
I wish I would have found out about Enviro-Log Firelogs sooner. I recently had the opportunity to review a couple fire logs. I kept wanting to fire them up but we had a bunch of rain, then it was too windy. But we finally got to use them. I received two of the 5 lb. logs but figured we would use one and save one for another night. They burn for three hours so that was good.
They are super easy to use and start right up in about a minute. And for one little log, I was really surprised at how much heat came from it.
The fire logs and firestarters are earth friendly and are known as the greenest and most versatile fire logs on the market. Enviro-Log Fire logs burn cleaner, emitting 30 percent less greenhouse gases, 80 percent less carbon dioxide and 86 percent less creosote.
They are made from recycled materials and can be used to start a fire anywhere in any weather condition, or as a safe and reliable fuel source for warming food. They are perfect to have on hand especially during hurricane season in case of severe weather.

All I can say is amazing for such a little log.
You can actually hear how windy it was. Thank goodness we have an empty lot next door where we could burn it because I don’t have a fire pit yet. And this is one log burning.
You can purchase them online for $20.99 for a case of 6 – 3 lb. logs, $21.99 for a case of 4 – 5 lb. logs and $12.99 for a case of 24 Firestarters.

I love Envirologs for the occasional fire. Definitely a good idea to keep them for emergency purposes!

That’s a great way to have a fire without a fireplace. Its also great for camping and stuff like that in the summer months.

You’re right, these are great for keeping on hand for emergencies! Especially emergencies involving wet weather where the wood kept outside may not be useable!
