If there is one thing I love its Chai tea! But mixing that with eggnog and Espresso, well that is a whole new flavor explosion my mouth has fallen in love with.
One taste of this recipe and you will see why it has become a holiday favorite for relaxing fireside or when hosting a get together.
If you are not familiar with the term “Dirty Chai” it is simply Chai Tea with Espresso! So you can do this recipe in several different ways. For example if you have an espresso machine you can make a small cup of espresso and mix with some chai tea to create the “dirty” version of chai.
We are sharing a link to a pre-made chai+espresso mix that you can use if you do not have an espresso machine – like me.
Ingredients
- 3 ounces eggnog
- 3 ounces Dirty Chai + Espresso
- White Chocolate (10 white chocolate melts).
- 3-4 marshmallows
- Christmas sprinkles
- Chocolate sauce
- Caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. In a saucepan over med-high heat, add your Dirty Chai + Espresso mixture
2. When the liquid is warm and steaming, add ten (10) white chocolate melts.
3. Stir until the white chocolate melts dissolve and are incorporated into the dirty chai and espresso.
4. Pour the mixture into a large measuring cup, and chill in the refrigerator until cool – approximately 15 – 20 minutes.
5. Drizzle caramel on the inside of the glass. (optional)
6. When the dirty chai and espresso is cold, pour into a glass filled with ice.
7. Add eggnog
8. Toast marshmallows using a butane baker’s torch or in the oven and when done add to the top of the drink
9. Drizzle with dark chocolate sauce.
Now you have a perfectly blended chai eggnog drink with a mix of flavors you will love! Enjoy y the fire with a good book and treat yourself to a great night at home.
Dirty Chai Eggnog
Delicious flavors of chai, espresso and eggnog will make your tastebuds dance.
Ingredients
- 3 ounces Eggnog
- 3 ounces dirty chai
- White Chocolate (10 white chocolate melts)
- 3-4 Marshmallows
- Christmas Sprinkles
- Chocolate Sauce
- Caramel Sauce (optional)

- Stir until the white chocolate melts dissolve and are incorporated into the dirty chai and espresso.
- Pour mixture into a large measuring cup, and chill in the refrigerator until cool, 15 - 20 minutes.
- Drizzle caramel on the inside of the glass. (optional)
- When the dirty chai and espresso is cold, pour into a glass filled with ice.
- Add eggnog, and top with marshmallows.
- Toast marshmallows using a butane baker's torch or in the oven set on broil.
- Drizzle with dark chocolate sauce.
