Big Slice Kettle Cooked Apples
I love apples and anything made with apples. I used to look forward to the fall up in New York, especially Labor Day Weekend when our local Cider Mill opened. We don’t have that down here in Florida and I miss it. I am excited to tell you about Grandma Hoerner’s Big Slice Kettle Cooked Apples.
When I first heard about them, I thought to myself, oh, just another round of cooked apples. But, how I was wrong. I received 5 different flavors:
- Cherry Vanilla
- Cinnamon French Toast
- Boysenberry Chocolate
- Pineapple Passion Fruit and Fiber
- Natural
They are ready to eat and go and come in 3 varieties, pure, fit and luxe. They are:
- Shelf stable in 4.5 oz. pouches
- 100% natural and refreshing
- Naturally Gluten Free
- Non GMO

You can eat them alone or with whatever you would like. The first one I tried was the Cinnamon French Toast. I heated them up a bit and ate them just like that. After trying them all, I have to say that this was my favorite. They take like apples with cinnamon, but they are soft apples because they have been kettle cooked.
The next one I tried was the natural. I topped off my french toast with it and I must say, it was very good. I should have used the Cinnamon French Toast with it but I wasn’t thinking about how I was going to use them before I started.

The Natural was my second favorite. I ate the Passion Fruit and Fiber and Cherry Vanilla on waffles. Each package of apples are only 80 calories and 2 Weight Watchers Points Plus.

I made some Weight Watchers Crepes with the Boysenberry Chocolate. It has just a hint of chocolate to satisfy my chocolate cravings. They were amazing.

Grandma Hoerner’s Big Slice Kettle Cooked Apples are available in 16 different flavors. I can’t wait to try all the other flavors. I am looking forward to visiting my kids in Kansas in a couple months because they are located about 2 hours from them. I plan on making a visit to their store.

Loved the French toast kettle apples. Bought them for the last year in my Costco in Illinois and now I can’t find them anywhere. What has happened to the product can’t find it anywhere. Please email me as to where I can purchase this item as I have used it for over a year buying it through the Costco thank you

Hi Gerry! It looks you can get them right on there website at https://bigsliceapples.com/ — they also have a store locator to find a location near you that may have them. That is the bad thing about Costoco – they are always changing out products!
