There is no reason to buy expensive scrubs when you can easily make them at home for a fraction of the cost! Our homemade Peppermint Sugar Scrub recipe will help you create a scrub that you can use yourself to make your skin super soft and lightly scented.

Elf on the Shelf DIY Sugar Scrub!
We like to call this scrub our “Elf on the Shelf” scrub since it is a perfect holiday gift for relatives, friends, co-workers or even for a grab bag.
One of the things I particularly love about this recipe is that the cost is so low! I see scrubs in some retailers going for $20 a jar, but this can be made for just a few dollars. The Peppermint Oil was the most expensive item – but that can be used for other projects as well!
The scrub recipe makes about 8 ounces of scrub.
If you are looking for something for any time of year – you can take a look at our Lemon Sugar Scrub recipe too! Personally, that one is my face since I LOVE lemon scents.
