Since nothing screams Easter more than a bunny – we present our Easter Bunny Butt cupcakes which I am pretty sure will be on huge hit with the kids (both big and small!). How can anyone resist a cute little bunny butt and feet coming out of the grass?
These cupcakes are easier to make than they look and with flavors of vanilla and coconut – they are sure to be a perfect finish to your Easter dinner.

Easter Bunny Butt Cupcakes Recipe!
This recipe looks hard, but it really is not. I am not a professional baker and while it took a little patience and trial and error with the piping, I think they came out so adorable. So if you are afraid to try this recipe because it looks hard – don’t be! If I can do it so can you! Just make sure you get the right piping tips to make the decorations which I have provided below.
Cake Ingredients
- 1 box of Funfetti cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1 cup water
Frosting Ingredients
- 1 C unsalted sweet cream butter
- 2 1/2 C powder sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3-5 TBSP heavy whipping cream
- Green food coloring
- Shredded coconut
- Royal icing bunny feet transfers
Other Required Tools
- Cupcake Pan
- Cupcake Liners
- 2 piping bags
- Large star tip
- Large round tip

Cupcakes Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Make the cake batter according to the box.
3. Scoop batter into the cupcake liners in a cupcake pan.

4. Bake the cupcakes at 350 degrees for 21 minutes.
5. Remove from oven and let cool.
Frosting Directions
1. Combine butter, powder sugar, vanilla, heavy whipping cream, and powder sugar.
2. Mix until stiff peaks form.
3. Split into two bowls, add green food coloring into one bowl.
4. Scoop the green frosting fitted with the star tip and set aside.
5. Scoop the regular frosting into the bag fitted with the round tip.
6. Using the round tip, pipe a circle in the middle of the cupcake to make a “Tail”.

7. Dip the cupcake into the shredded coconut.

8. Using the green frosting pipe “grass” around the tail.

9. Place two bunny feet on the side’s of the tail.
