I remember watching Dick Clark’s American Bandstand when I was little. It was one of my favorite Saturday afternoon shows.
So, I knew that I was going to love the Legends in Concert show at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater in Branson, Missouri. We were guests of the show, compliments of ExploreBranson.com.
We also attended the Baldknobbers Jamboree Show while visiting Branson and stayed at the Branson Towers Hotel
The show lasted about 2 hours with an intermission and we got to sit in the first row, but there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. I felt like a little kid because I was so excited. We got there a little earlier so we could check out all the neat memorabilia on display. Upon entering, we got our pictures taken with the Blues Brothers.
The show lineup consisted of ~ The Blues Brothers, Celine Dion, Johnny Cash, The Temptations and Elvis Presley. They not only looked the stars, but also sang and talked just like them.
I thought they all were great, but my favorite was Elvis Presley. Everyone was singing along, including me. As with the Baldknobbers Jamboree Show, there were kids of all ages, from 1 to 100.
You can check their website for the different show times available during the year, including a Christmas Show also. Tickets start at $6.70 for children and $35.72 for adults, with other options available, including Combo tickets that include a discount at the Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill.
The lineup also changes with the season. You can see the list on the Legends in Concert website. We really enjoyed the show and if I could, I would make the trip each season to see them all.
