Jord Wood Watches: Everyday Fashion!

When I was first contacted by Jord and heard the phrase “wood watches,” I thought to myself, “that’s different, what could you possibly wear it with?” I looked up Jord Wood Watches online and didn’t realize there were so many different ones. Zebrawood, Cherry, Maple, Bamboo, and Koa plus the different styles, colors and combinations.

I chose the Ely in Maple because I like that it has the date box on it and it wasn’t overly large. I measured my wrist according to the directions and sent over the size I needed and waited for it to arrive.

It arrived quickly and I couldn’t believe how well packaged it was. It arrives in a beautiful crafted wood box with the watch nestled inside around a little pillow. I took the watch out of the box very carefully, for fear that it was delicate. So far from the truth. It is very durable.

I opened it up to put it on….and it was simply stunning!

Now, you are probably thinking to yourself “it’s only a watch!” Yes, I have had gold watches, pendant watches, even ring watches in my life, but none of them were a watch that would attract attention. The Jord Wood Watches are not only a watch but a conversation piece.

I have to admit that I am a very shy person. I’m not the type to just walk up to people and start talking. I wore my wood watch while I was at Mom 2.0 and got so many comments and questions about it, I didn’t have to worry about not knowing anyone there, the watch broke the ice.

Plus, you can wear it with anything. Whether you are dressed casually for a day out of shopping, or dressed up for a dinner date, it’s going to match everything!

Why Jord Wood Watches?

I believe that there is too much commercialism surrounding everything these days. What happened to simpler times, like when I was growing up? More natural products, more down to earth products, less chemicals, less manufacturing, less technology? Those days are long gone! But we can still work toward a better and cleaner world for our children, our grandchildren, our great grandchildren by choosing products that make this a greener world.
