Watchers Crispy Chicken Tenders Recipe!
**Updated with Freestyle Points
If I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again….I LOVE my Air Fryer. It makes eating healthy easy. Today we have an Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Fingers Recipe with only 9 Weight Watchers Smart Points or 6 Freestyle Points.
Nope, still not a diet recipe as I just calculated the smart points so people (like me) who are following the Weight Watchers program don’t have to figure it out for themselves. I did it for you.
Chicken Tenders/Fingers Recipe Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1½ lb. of Chicken Tenderloins
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Egg
- 2 tablespoon of Milk
- 1 cup of all-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon of Paprika
- 1 cup of Panko Breadcrumbs
- GoWise XL Air Fryer
Instructions:
- Lightly season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
- Crack the egg in a bowl. Add the milk, salt and pepper and whisk it well.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt and pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Mix it well.
- In another shallow bowl combine the panko breadcrumbs, salt and pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Mix it well.
- Take a chicken tender. Dredge it in the all-purpose flour mix. Shake off the excess. Dip it in the egg mix. And then coat it completely with the panko breadcrumb mix. Keep it aside on a wire rack.
- Repeat with all the chicken tenders.
- Place few slices in the lightly greased air fryer basket, in a single layer. Lightly spray the crumb coated tenders.
- Air fry at 370 F for 14 minutes, flipping at the halfway mark (at 7 minutes).
- Repeat with all the prepared chicken tenders.
- Serve your chicken tenders hot with ketchup or ranch, or whatever sauce you enjoy them with the most. In our home we happen to love a good honey mustard dressing.
Recipe serves 4 and Freestyle Points = 6!

Oh my, Delicious Recipe! Made in my Instant Vortex Air Fryer Oven! Best Chicken I’ve had in a long time.
I did use chicken Breast and cut them into Filets and egg washed them, seasoned them ,and put crushed potato
Chips on them. Cut time down to 5 minutes, then rotated trays and turned out to be the Best Dinner Ever.

Spray the bread crumbs with what? I’m new to air frying.
Jill
Hi Lauren – just spray them lightly with a Pam like spray of some sort just to keep it from sticking. Have fun with your new air fryer!

Hi Mary,
Just wondering approximately how many chicken tenders per serving to equal 6smart points?
Thanks,
Nancy
Mary Walker
You would have to weigh your chicken tenders depending on their size but it would be 6 oz. per serving.

Why is there so much salt and pepper?
Mary Walker
You can adjust the salt and pepper to however much or little you like.
