Cherry Pie Heart Pops Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Box of Refrigerated Pie Crusts
  • 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
  • Pink Sugar & White Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • Sucker Sticks
  • Heart Cookie Cutters

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Take out pie crust and unroll on parchment paper.
  3. With a large heart cookie cutter, cut out hearts.
  4. Lay the pieces on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  5. Add about a Tablespoon of pie filling in the center of each heart. (Not too much or it will spill out). Place sucker stick on.
  6. Lay another heart on top and press around the edges with a fork to seal together.
  7. OPTIONAL: Take a smaller heart cookie cutter and cut out a few hearts to place on top of the large hearts.
  8. Now, mix the egg in a bowl. Then brush the outside of the heart with the egg mixture.
  9. Sprinkle with pink and white Sugar.
  10. Place in oven for 15-18 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  11. Ready to serve!
