Slow Cooker Meat Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Box Lasagna Noodles
  • 24-32 oz. Spaghetti Sauce
  • 3 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 15 oz. Container Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 cups Cottage Cheese if you don't like cottage cheese, you can just omit it. It won't affect the recipe at all.
  • 1 Egg
  • 2-3 Tab. Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 1 Teas. Minced Garlic

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef and drain grease. Pour into
  2. medium size bowl and add spaghetti sauce, plus ½ cup water. (If you like it saucier
  3. then add additional spaghetti sauce).
  4. In a separate medium size bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, egg,
  5. parsley, garlic, and 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Add 1/3 of the meat sauce into a 4-6 quart sized crockpot and spread around. Then add 1/2 of the cheese mixture and spread around.
  7. Next, add 3-4 Uncooked lasagna noodles. Break them so they fit.
  8. Repeat steps until you end with the meat mixture.
  9. Sprinkle the top with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  10. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  11. Enjoy!
