Just in time for back to school lunch boxes. “Nobody, doesn’t like Sara Lee” right? And chocolate? I know I do! Sara Lee sent me a box of snack cakes in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own and may differ from yours.
Sara Lee is part of the largest baking company, Bimbo Bakeries USA. Sara Lee has been around forever and is an American icon. At least as long as I can remember.
They are baked fresh to go and individually pre packaged. So all you have to do is place them in the lunch boxes and the kids have something great to snack on at lunch.
They come in Devils Food Creme Cake, Buttery Sunshine, Golden Creme Cakes, Crumb Cakes and Golden Fudge Cakes. Most boxes contain 8 cakes and be purchased for $3.99. Right now, if you head over to the Sara Lee Facebook page you can snag a $1.00 off coupon.
I received a nice little prize pack with a box of Devils Food Creme Cake, a lunchbox and a plastic water bottle. The cakes were just the right size for a snack, especially for my mom, who is 93 and doesn’t like anything big. She will usually eat half of most things, but with the snack cake, she was able to eat the entire thing. She needs to gain some weight, so I told her just hang out with us and she will soon enough. 🙂
They don’t need to be refrigerated, but you can stick them in there if you like them chilled.
