Protect Your Tires with RV Tire Covers!
One of the first items an RV owner should invest in is a set of RV Tire Covers. You want to protect your RV Tires as much as you can especially when they are exposed to the sun’s UV rays on a daily basis. Whether you have 2 tires, 4 tires or even 6 tires, they have sets available as well as different size tires. We got a set of 4 that fit 26″ – 28.75.
Most of the tire covers you see are white in color but these are a tan with brown seams. They match our RV perfectly and are easy to put on. The slit in the back allows you to slip them right over the tires and there are also elasticized bungie cord hooks on the backs that prevents them from coming off on windy days.
They are made from a heavy duty Oxford fabric with 100% waterproof PVC lining on the back. They are also great for cars, SUV’s and pickup trucks.
UV rays can make your tires wear out faster. They dry out the rubber and allow them to crack, dry rot if you will, which makes them not last as long getting less mileage than you expected out of them and more susceptible to a blow out. Plus having to replace them sooner than later is a very pricy option.
The tire covers are made by Roraima and they also have many different items available. We recently reviewed a screen tent by them which is another item that every RV owner should have to keep the skeeters and other bugs away.
