Incredibles 2 Movie Review | An Incredible Sequil
I have to admit that if it weren’t for my grandkids, I probably would never have seen half (or most) of the movies that I have in the past 2 years. Plus I love getting the DVD’s because not only do they include the digital code for me to watch on my phone or iPad, but they include all the short videos like Auntie Edna and Baby Jack-Jack but also behind the scenes videos and deleted scenes.
Incredibles 2 is about a superhero family. With the rolls shifted, Mr. Incredible (Bob) is now a stay at home dad and Elastigirl (Helen). Bob is not happy about it but has to be since Helen is a better superhero to be the face for superheroes (she doesn’t destroy as much as bob). Bob is Mr Incredible and has super strength and Helen is Elastigirl she is super stretchy.
When the superheroes are banned, Elastigirl swings into action. The mom gets to go out and make superhero’s look like the good guys again after a series of lawsuits against superhero’s that have caused them hide who they are.
The Screen Slaver (bad guy who is actually a girl) uses mind control to take over superhero’s and make them look bad. The whole family has to use their powers to save the day and baby Jack-Jack now has powers and helps save mom and dad too.
We truly enjoyed the movie and the deleted and behind the scenes videos. Brad Bird has once again produced a very entertaining film even if it has been 14 years since the first one. Be sure to pick up your copy today!
