Craft Blocks Easy Halloween Witch Transforms Into a Snowman
When doing crafts, I like to make them so they do double duty. Living full time in an RV, we have limited space and have to think about weight too. Which brings me to why I love Craft Blocks so much.
I made an easy Halloween Witch for Halloween that transforms into a snowman for Christmas. And all the items except for the Hy-Lite Craft Blocks came from the dollar store.
If you’ve ever done a craft with a regular glass craft block then you know they are heavy. I made an Easter Bunny a long time ago and I cannot take with me because of the weight. These craft blocks are acrylic and I feel you can do so much more with them because of that.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- Always use LED Lights if placing them inside.
- Never clean with abrasive cleansers or chemicals.
- Do not place near an open flame or any heat source.
There is a plug in the bottom of the craft block so you can fill it with whatever you’d like and can run your light cord through there too. They are durable and measure the standard block size of 8 x 8 and 3 1/2 inches wide.
There are so many things that you can make with the craft blocks, my mind is already thinking of other things to do with it after the holidays. Made by Hy-Lite which is a very well known glass block company. Available online per piece or you can purchase an entire case. Connect with them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
