Berry Crunch Parfait!
I love finding new recipes on the internet. So when asked if I would share one from the Honey Bunches of Oats website, I said sure. Scanning through all the recipes, I came across a couple that sounded good. Instead of having to decide on just one, I will be sharing with a couple with you. We are going to start off with a Berry Crunch Parfait. I hope you don’t mind that I tweaked it a little bit in order to celebrate the upcoming holiday….4th of July.
I tweaked by adding blueberries to it, but you can make it just as it states if you don’t like blueberries. It also offers a few suggestions at the end.
It’s super simple to make takes only 10 minutes. You could probably even make it the night before and serve it for breakfast.
Berry Crunch Parfait:
- 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
- 2 Tbsp. thawed lite whipped topping
- 2 Tbsp. Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal
- Place half of the strawberries in 8-oz. glass; top with layers of 1 Tbsp. each of the whipped topping and cereal.
- Cover with layers of the remaining strawberries and cereal.
- Top with the remaining whipped topping.
Tips and Suggestions:
Substitute: Prepare as directed, using fat-free whipped topping.
Substitute: Prepare as directed, substituting blueberries for the sliced strawberries.
Nutrition Bonus: Start your day with this colorful parfait. Or, enjoy it as an afternoon snack. The strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C.
And there you have it! Be sure to check back tomorrow to see how the Barbecue-Glazed Meat Loaf turned out.
