Zoonicorn Plush Toys and Storybook!
I think every kid at one time or another has wanted a Unicorn. But what’s even better is a Zoonicorn! What is it? Exactly what it sounds like…a combination of a Zebra and a Unicorn. They are joining our 5th annual Holiday Gift Guide. Aren’t they the cutest?
The idea for the Zoonicorn came about because they wanted to create a plush toy that was a combination between an exotic animal and a mythical creature. They also created a kid’s book to go along with them to be educational for kids and entertaining for adults. That’s where “Buffy Meets the Zoonicorns” comes in.
The Zoonicorns are available in 4 colors, blue, pink, green and purple, and you can buy them separately or as a set which includes the book also.
When you meet the Zoonicorns, they just might resemble some of your kids with each one having their own personality. And you yourself might even identify with one of them.
Let’s meet the Zoonicorns:
- Promithea (purple): Promithea has a warm and kind personality, and is a friend to everyone. (kind of like me!) She sometimes cares a little too much about her appearance; especially her mane. She is always patient and understanding but likes to do things her way. Seeing or receiving lilies are the best way to make her smile but keep all bugs, mostly spiders away from her at all times.
- Aliel (pink): Being around Aliel is always exciting and fun. She will be your friend from the moment you meet. It is hard to keep up with her in conversations because she likes to talk, a lot. Sometimes she says things without thinking and can be a bit impulsive which can get her into trouble. Always looking for adventure, you will never be bored with Aliel around. If there is dirt or mud nearby you can bet she’ll find it, and somehow, she always manages to lose the ribbons Promithea puts in her mane.
- Ene (green): Ene is the youngest, mischievous and the most caring Zoonicorn. He can be a bit shy and timid which makes him not always stick up for himself. (this sounds like a little like me too!) Big words can be hard for him to say but he is learning. He is happy all the time and he gets along with everyone. Ene is a good listener and will always try his best to make you feel better when you are sad or troubled. Having to eat peas is one thing that will bring him down, he would much rather fill his belly with string cheese.
- Valeo (blue):Valeo is the oldest Zoonicorn and a natural leader. He likes to give orders, but isn’t good at taking them. (Me also, lol!) He’s athletic and loves to show off, but sometimes he can be a bit too competitive which makes him a poor loser. He’s always willing to help those in need and his bravery can see him through almost any situation. His favorite thing is strawberry ice cream, especially when it’s in a cone.
Maybe there is a little bit of me in each Zoonicorn. But whatever the case, you can buy the one that seems most like your child or buy them the entire set. Soft and cuddly and can be carried with the kids with ease.
In the book “Buffy Meets the Zoonicorns”, Buffy the Bison falls asleep and wakes up in the magical land of Zoonicorns. Buffy stresses around large crowds at the zoo but wakes up stress free thanks to the Zoonicorns.
Connect with Zoonicorn on Facebook and Twitter. There are also downloadable activities on their website. Put some Zoonicorns under your tree this year. The mobile app to go along with them is now available for iOS and Android.
