Keep an Eye on Baby, Pets and Elderly with Withings Home Monitor!
As most of you know, we have been taking care of my 95 year old mom for the past couple months. Even though there are two of us, my husband and myself, it is still nearly impossible to walk outside at the same time for fear that she will get up and fall. But not anymore since we got the Withings Home Monitor. We are also able to see her with the night vision up to 10′ away.
I’ve had baby monitors before but none of them were as easy as the Withings Home Monitor to set up. No lie, in under a minute it was ready to go. I downloaded the app before hand and created a free account. What I particularly like about the Withings Home Monitor is that not only can you keep an eye on kids, pets or elderly, but it will also tell you the air quality in the house.
The Withings Home Monitor alerts me on my phone when there is noise or motion sensed.
Besides using it for my mom, we also used it for Harley while we were traveling. She has a tendency to freak out when we leave her and even though she was in her crate when we left, I was able to talk to her through the home monitor to get her to settle down.
Our last dog, Chalupa, freaked out once and wrecked my son’s rug by scratching at the bottom tray in the crate. She ended up popping it out and it cost us $500 to replace his rug. We did not want a repeat with Harley. There is also a light that will come on if you want to snap a picture.
This is night vision!
So, from now on whenever we travel we take it with us. I did let my son use it for a little bit to make sure the kids weren’t fooling around in their bedroom when they woke up. You know, kids will be kids!
