The Risks of Drunk Driving and The Best Breathalyzers!

The risks of drunk driving are many. You can lose your life or take someone else’s life. But you can save yourself frustration and money by getting your own Breathalyzer. Unfortunately, I know people who have been on both sides of drunk driving. My brother in law was killed by drunk driving when the guy crossed the double yellow line. My other two brother in law’s were in the vehicle with him and suffered severe damage but have recovered completely.

I also know people who have been one of those people who were drunk driving. And still haven’t learned their lesson. They once again got caught drunk driving. So now they have to blow into a breathalyzer in order to start their vehicle.

But there is an easier way to prevent any of this heartache and possibly save yours or someone else’s life. That would be to get your own breathalyzer so you can check yourself to find out if it’s okay for you to get behind the wheel.

There are many different breathalyzers on the market and it can be a hard choice to know which one is the best. Some are DOT approved for drunk driving.

There are many different breathalyzers on the market and it can be a hard choice to know which one is the best. And there are actually one’s that are DOT approved so you know that they will work. While some may be a little pricey, it’s worth it when it comes to saving someone’s life or even to save you the fees it can cost you for tickets, jail time, and even insurance prices.

There are also a few that won’t break the bank and are budget friendly starting at $39.99.

If you tech savvy, there are a few that will actually attach to your phone and will test your blood alcohol level right on the spot. The Lifeguard Personal Breathlyzer, ranks as the highest priced at $250 but isn’t even in the most popular category. That would be my choice.

These days, they are always on the lookout for drunk drivers and even set up roadblocks. I grew up when the drinking age was 18 and no one gave getting behind the wheel after drinking a second thought. You would think that drunk driving would be totally out of the question now, but people still do it. Take for instance the pickup truck driver that just killed 4 women on Long Island after hitting the limo… He will most likely spend the rest of his life in jail and from what I have read….it wasn’t his first time!

Was that drink really worth it?
