Before I moved to Florida, I never heard of so many people having their cars end up in ponds, rivers and lakes.  It amazes me every time it happens, which is just about every other day.  A lot of the time, the people end up drowning because they couldn’t escape and it makes me end of having nightmares.  With Father’s Day quickly approaching, I came across the T3 Tactical Auto Rescue Tool and thought it was a great idea for a Father’s Day gift.

The T3 Tactical Auto Rescue Tool by StatGear has everything you need, just in case something were to happen.   The tool itself is only 5 inches long and weighs only 6.4 oz.

 It includes:

  • A spring loaded steel tip window punch
  • 440C stainless steel hook blade for seatbelt cutting
  • LED light with replaceable batteries
  • 1/2 serrated 440C stainless steel blade
  • Stainless steel belt clip & heavy duty nylon belt sheath

It has to be good if it was featured in so many popular magazines like Men’s Health, Ambulance World, Military.com, and Journal of EMS just to name a few.

When I gave it to my husband, yeah I know it’s not Father’s Day yet but I was never any good at keeping secrets, he couldn’t believe that it had everything on it that you could possibly need to survive if anything happened to your car.  You would think it would be easy to get your seat belt off or break the window, but not if you are under water.  It could just save your life.  To me, it’s worth every bit of $39.99 that it costs just to have piece of mind.

There is still plenty of time to order before Father’s Day, but really it’s great for any occasion, even “just because”!

What a great idea for Father’s Day – and any other day for anyone who drives. There should be one of these attached to a visor in every car.

This is a fantastic idea for a gift. I also worry all the time about my family’s and my own safety. You can never be too prepared.

My husband would love one of these. He is a back woods survival kind of guys. He is always trying to get us to rough it camping but I am not so easily inclined to go that far with 2 little ones. I loved doing it when I was younger and didn’t have kids! But I will stick with camp grounds for now!
