Let’s face it, everybody wants to win lots of sweepstakes, including me. And I used to win quite a few actually. Nothing big, but nevertheless, I won. That was back when I had lots of time on my hands. Before I started blogging. Not so much since then. I received the book Sweepstakes Millionaire in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own and may differ from yours.
It’s kind of funny that I just got done reading this book, while I am returning from a trip to Colorado….that I won. I didn’t actually win the trip, but I did win a 3 night, 4 day stay at The Porches in Steamboat Springs, CO. It was amazing.
The Sweepstakes Millionaire book is written by Johnathan Wyka-Warzecha and although there are some things in the book that I already knew, there were many more that I didn’t.
He starts off the book by explaining the difference between sweepstakes and giveaways. One of things I already knew, was that when entering a drawing type where you fill out the entry form, you should crumple it up. I have been doing that for years. Whenever we go to a Fair or something like that, and I enter to win a car or something big, I will crumple the form after I fill it out and drop it into the container. It’s supposed to get picked because whoever is picking, will feel the difference in forms and it gets chosen. So far, I haven’t had any luck with it.
Did you know that there are Conferences for Sweepstakes Millionaires? Yep, I didn’t know that either. There is even one coming up in Orlando next year. He talks about the all the websites where you can find lists of Sweepstakes & Giveaways to enter like SweepstakesNinja.com. Some I have heard of and others I haven’t.
There are however a few things in the book that I don’t agree with. One of them being the section where he talks about mommy blogs and Rafflecopter. He says that it’s hard to find a legitimate giveaway because it seems the same people always win, as in family and friends. He says to check out who won the past 10-15 prizes. I beg to differ on that note because some of us smaller blogs have a following that will enter each and every giveaway on our blogs. So, they may have won a few in a row. I’m not going to disqualify them because they won the previous one. They are just dedicated.
All in all, the Sweepstakes Millionaire is good book with lots of good tips in it. And who knows…you just might win.
You can purchase the Sweepstakes Millionaire on Amazon for $17.96. They are offering a book to one lucky Plum Crazy About Coupons reader. Enter on the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!
