Easy Inexpensive Spring Centerpiece DIY!
Spring is here for most of the country and it’s time to create an easy spring centerpiece. Unless you were one of the few (like us) who woke up to this on Easter morning! But it warmed up and the snow was gone by noon thank goodness.
The spring centerpiece can easily be changed into a summer, fall or even winter centerpiece just by changing out a few of the items as you will see. I actually created this for Easter but by removing the bunnies and grass, it can be left on the table all year if you want.
I took an old soda crate that I had laying around. I won’t lie but sometimes I can be a hoarder and will hang onto things “just in case” I need them someday. I also had some blue mason jars that I had from Mom 2.0 last year.
The bottom of the crate was a little
nasty warn looking so I laid some paper towels in it to cover the bottom. I probably could have used some seasonal napkins also (if I had some!) Then I laid some Easter grass and set my bunnies inside.
I used a battery operated flameless candle especially with the kids around. I added a hurricane glass that I had but you don’t need to and you can pretty much add whatever spring items you have on hand. I did however purchase the flowers at Walmart for $5! You could use fake flowers also.
Since I had blue mason jars, I wanted something to stand out and had seen some yellow flowers in blue jars on Pinterest. If you don’t have blue mason jars, you can always add blue colored water to regular jars.
It looked great on the table and I can’t wait to decorate it for the next holiday and season.
