Quick and Easy Christmas Craft!
Sometimes it’s the quick and easy Christmas craft that can get you through a snow day or vacation day. This one is super easy and you can use items found around the house and the Dollar Tree. I took an old picture frame we had lying around and made it from that.
- Old picture frame (or one purchased at the dollar store, if you don’t have one).
- Christmas duck tape. (Purchased at the Dollar Tree)
- Ornament or item to hang in the middle.
- String or ribbon.
I have seen a couple of crafts on Pinterest where the frame had been painted. I opted to do it this way since it’s too cold outside to spray paint. I was surprised to come across the Christmas duct tape at the Dollar Tree. It was on a bottom shelf in the Christmas decorations aisle.
I used the green Christmas tree one since my ornament was red. I wrapped the frame with the duct tape. Tucked it around the back and snipped the corners to make it easier.
Attach your ornament with a string or ribbon and you are done! The first picture is how it looks against the wallpaper (almost everything is wallpapered in my mom’s house) and the second picture is against a plain wall.
So, it cost me $2.16 to make this!
Another variation would be to cover the back of the frame with wrapping paper or tissue paper, which I used, and I hot glued a dollar store reindeer on it.
