Welcome to day 7 of our 12 Days of Healthy recipes. Today are sharing a healthy Peaches and Cream recipe that is made with Greek Yogurt and frozen peaches. It’s an easy and filling snack or dessert and is a family favorite of ours.

 

Welcome to day 7 of our 12 Days of Healthy recipes. Today Just Plum Crazy is sharing a healthy Peaches and Cream recipe that is made with Greek Yogurt and frozen peaches.

 

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons canola oil

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 pound frozen sliced peaches, thawed (4 cups)

1 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (I didn’t have any pure maple so I just used regular)

 

Today we are sharing a healthy Peaches and Cream recipe that is made with Greek Yogurt and frozen peaches. Can be used as a snack or dessert.

 

Directions:

Preheat a grill pan over medium heat.

In a medium bowl, whisk together canola oil, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Add the peaches and toss to coat evenly.

Place the peaches on the grill pan and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove pan from heat and allow to cool for about 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine yogurt and maple syrup.

To serve, place 3/4 cup sliced peaches into one of four small bowls and top with a 1/4 of the yogurt mixture.
