Nativo Lodge ~ Albuquerque, New Mexico @VisitABQ

Nativo Lodge is pet friendly!

Last year on our Fall Travel Adventure we stopped in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Even though we don’t have a dog at the moment, I am always on the lookout for hotel’s that accept pets. I like to plan ahead and knowing where the pet friendly hotel’s are is a plus. They allow pets up to 50 lbs with a $25 per week pet fee.

We stayed at the Nativo Lodge which is conveniently and centrally located, to the Rattlesnake Museum and Historic Old Town, right off Interstate 25, close to all the area attractions and very nice with great prices and free parking. It is rich in Native American Culture and shows it throughout the lodge.

We had the pleasure of staying in one their newest Artist Rooms. I thought the hand painted pictures on the walls were pretty interesting and wondered why there was a QR code on each picture. You scan it with your phone and it brings up a video of it being painted.

It is close to restaurants, but has the Spirit Wind Cafe located right inside. It offers New Mexican and American food made with fresh, seasonal entrees that reflect the Southwest flair and love chile.

You can also rent the Tee Pee and Hookah Lounge for private parties and special groups. You don’t have to go far for some fun nightlife entertainment, enjoy yourself in the Nativo Lobby Bar and be sure to visit their Facebook page to find out what will be happening during your visit.

Another part of the hotel I thought was interesting was the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub.  Although we didn’t have time to go swimming, I was able to snap some pictures of it. Right next door to the pool is the fitness center. Because even though you are on vacation, you still need to stay in shape.

The hotel comes with complimentary WI-FI which is available in the room and all public areas.  They do offer free walking tours of Historic Old Town, but you are responsible for your own transportation.
