My Birthday Chronicle
I think it’s so cool when you find something that tells you what happened the day you were born. I received My Birthday Chronicle in order to facilitate my review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own and may differ from yours.
Mine actually says how old I will be in my upcoming birthday in October. It tells you who the president was, the top music hits, the top news of the day and so much more. Did you know that on my birthday Congress was debating on consumer prices. The average American couldn’t afford a new house in that economy with new house prices averaging 19,200. Huh? Fifty one cents was a bargain for a gallon of milk and sixty seven cents was too much for a pound of bacon! What? And twenty cents for a loaf of bread was affordable. The average American was earning $5,417.oo per year. Also, the Vice President noted that ten pounds of potatoes had risen to sixty three cents.
It gets delivered to you by email and then you can just print it out. It’s like the front page of the newspaper from the day you were born. It combines nostalgia and history and it’s something they will treasure forever. It can date back to 1900, so I ordered one for my mom, whose birthday was in February. She is 93 and I am probably more excited to see what happened on the day she was born than she is.
I guess that was probably a lot for potatoes since during the recession they used potatoes as fillers in pretty much everything. It also tells you who celebrates their birthday on the same day.
If I were to get this as a gift, I would be really excited. It’s something different and unique. Right now they are offering one for free for just tweeting or posting on Facebook. That’s not a bad deal.
My rating for My Birthday Chronicle is 5/5 Stars.
