I participated in the Idina Menzel Holiday Wishes album review program as a member of One2One Network. I was provided an album to review but all opinions are my own.
Idina Menzel Holiday Wishes!
Right about now, I feel as if I was living under a rock. I originally signed up for this review because I love Christmas and I love Christmas music. I had no idea who Idina Menzel was. I know, even after seeing Frozen a million times, and listening to the soundtrack just as much, I had no clue. That was until a couple nights ago when I was watching CMT Country Christmas and last night when I watched The Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center. Yeah, she was on both of those shows and was simply amazing.
So, last night after the show was done, I checked the album that I had downloaded and sure enough, it was Idina Menzel Holiday Wishes holiday album that I was reviewing. There are a lot of songs that I like but have no clue who sings them, such as this one.
There are 12 songs on the album, with a couple of duets with Kenny G and Michael Bublé, some that I knew and some that I didn’t but they are all easy listening. Two of my favorites and ones that bring back good memories of Christmas’s past are Holly, Jolly Christmas and White Christmas. Her voice, which if you had heard ‘Let it Go’ and ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman,’ then you know how amazing it is. This is the kind of album that I like to sit with the only the tree lights on and listen to it (usually as loud as I can get away with.) The music carries me away as it fills the house with a wonderful sound.
