Gulf Coast Jam
As part of our Fall Travel plans, I had the pleasure of being able to attend the first annual Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach, Florida. It was sponsored by Pepsi and Panama City Beach CVB. 3 Days worth of Country Music with 3 stages on the beach and the big name performers in the evening at Frank Brown Park.
I had first heard about the Gulf Coast Jam on our local radio station in Central Florida and had to check it out right away. I had never been to a multi day concert, especially one located on the beach. It sounded like fun.
There were hotel packages that included the multi day tickets with shuttle service to and from the main stage and preferred seating. The tickets alone were $139 each so I thought it was a pretty good deal.
Since it was the first annual Jam, it was a little disorganized on the first day with the shuttle buses. But it was soon taken care of by the second day.
We stayed at the Majestic Beach Resort and were in between 2 of the day stages. There was way over 50+ bands. My favorite’s were Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Kip Moore, Darryl Worley, just to name a few. There are actually too many to name.
It was a great concert and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. It was 90 and sunny everyday and in the low 70’s at night. Perfect!
The condo was absolutely beautiful and we were on the 6th floor overlooking the Gulf. The view was fabulous. And we even went in the water, something we don’t normally do. It was like bath water.
We had a really great time and couldn’t believe how close we were to the stage.
Shoot, I was excited just seeing Toby Keith’s Semi’s and RV!
I am already looking forward to next years Gulf Coast Jam and am sure it will probably be even better. (If that’s even possible!)
