Crystal Village on the Gulf Coast
As part of Fall Travel Adventure, we had the pleasure of staying at Crystal Village in Destin, Florida, thanks to Newman Dailey Resort Properties. You can find all the information on their website, DestinVacation.com. Well, technically it’s located in South Walton, Florida but it’s pretty much all the same. It’s all on the beautiful Gulf Coast.
Crystal Village Vacation Homes are 2 bedroom town homes, located steps from the beach and the breathtaking sunsets. They sleep 6 – 8 people comfortably and all the conveniences of home. It’s beautifully decorated and you get that gulf coast coastal feel as soon as you walk in.
We had a King sized bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin size beds in the guest bedroom. There were also 2 bathrooms. A washer and dryer are also located inside the town home. The pool was located right outside our patio.
We were only able to stay for 2 nights, but it was a nice relaxing way to end our travels after being on the road for 4 months. I only wish it was longer. Time always flies when you’re having fun. We had a little patio right outside our townhouse so we could just sit and relax and enjoy the ocean breezes, overlooking the pool.
The beach is located just a short walk down the road, along with some great restaurants.
It’s located close to all the attractions and fun things to do, like snorkeling, Big Kahuna Water Park, Gulfarium (Marine Adventure Park), Buccaneer Pirate Cruise, Jet Skiing, Para Sailing….and so much more! Read about them in my Gulf Coast Fun post.
There are restaurants close by, which are also located directly on the beach also, for instance Pompano Joe’s is right at the corner. You can relax by the pool or on the beach. But, whatever you decide, be sure to catch the amazingly breathtaking sunsets. You won’t be disappointed.
You might even get lucky like we did and see a few dolphins. No matter how many times I see them, I am like a little kid when I do. They are so graceful and fun to watch.
Crystal Village isn’t the only vacation rental that Newman Dailey they have houses, cottages, gulf access, pet friendly and even rentals available that sleep up to 16! So, be sure to contact DestinVacation.com when booking your next vacation in Destin, Florida.
As the old saying goes…..I’d rather be in Destin! Where would you rather be?
