Universal Orlando CityWalk!
As part of our #FacingFearsTogether event, we had the pleasure of spending some time at CityWalk at Universal Orlando. Located at the entrance to Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure, CityWalk is one of the hottest spots in Orlando and is filled with fun things to do, restaurants, specialty shops, street entertainers, dancing and even a 20 screen movie theater.
We had lunch at one of the newest restaurants, Antojitos, just one of the many dining choices, with freshly made guacamole, and authentic Mexican food. We got to taste many of the appetizers and ordered the Chicken Fajitas, finishing off with a buffet of desserts.
We also had a late night snack at the Red Oven Pizza Bakery, Universal’s first-ever Neopolitan-style pizza bakery. The pizza was a great choice for a small snack but you can also get a full meal. We finished off the night with a stop to Cold Stone Creamery.
Some of the other new additions to CityWalk are Hot Dog Hall of Fame, The CowFish, VIVO Italian Kitchen, the Bread Box, and Menchie’s. Other choices include Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Nascar Sports Grille and Margaritaville.
Not looking to eat, head over to the Hollywood Drive-In Golf where you can play 36 holes of golf. Go dancing at Bob Marley where you can enjoy live music nightly. Or head over to Orlando’s hottest nightclub and ultra lounge, the Red Coconut Club.
Some of the girls headed over to CityWalk’s Rising Star and sang some karaoke. Hard Rock Cafe Orlando & Hard Rock Live Orlando is also located at CityWalk where you can grab a burger and some rock n’ roll at the world’s largest Hard Rock Cafe.
Last but not least, you will want to head over to see the Blue Man Group. It is a must see while you are visiting Universal Orlando. It was the first time to the show and couldn’t have been more pleased with it. It was funny and the grand finale was definitely not expected.
But one thing for sure, whether you are big or small, young or old, there is something for everyone at CityWalk’s 30 acre park. You will not be disappointed.
