Welcome to day 5 of our 12 Days of Valentine’s Day recipes and ideas. 

I love cherry pie but I hate getting it out of the pan in one piece. And the first piece is always the hardest and falls apart the most. However, cherry pie reminds me of Valentine’s Day for some reason. Maybe because cherries are red. Who knows. What I do know is that making individual Cherry Pie Heart Pops is so much easier and everyone loves them.

What’s Needed

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Take out pie crust and unroll on parchment paper.

3. With a large heart cookie cutter, cut out hearts.

4. Lay the pieces on a parchment lined cookie sheet.

5. Add about a Tablespoon of pie filling in the center of each heart. (Not too much or it will spill out). Place sucker stick on.

6. Lay another heart on top and press around the edges with a fork to seal together.

9. Sprinkle with pink and white Sugar.

  • 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
  • Pink Sugar & White Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • Sucker Sticks
