Champion Me Books #Review

Champion Me Books has joined our Christmas Gift Guide 2012.  Thank you for being a sponsor.

My grandson loves when I read a book a to him and put his name in it in place of another character.  So imagine how excited he was to not only hear his name in the story but see his name in the book.  I loved it!

I was given the opportunity to review Champion Me Books.  They gave me 4 books to download after we created the character Cody.  It was really neat because you can choose his hair style and color, nose, skin color, clothing color and eyebrows to look most like your child.  The Personalized Children’s Books make great Christmas presents.

I was able to download the books in PDF format or EPUB.  I chose the PDF and downloaded it right into my Kindle on my IPad.  Once downloaded, we started reading.  At the beginning of each book, I dedicated it Cody from Grandma and Grandpa.

The first book was Cody in the Great Escape of Mighty Star!  It is so colorful and the story was so nice that it kept attention.  This one is about Cody and how shy he is.  He kind of stays to himself until he makes friends with the animals.  In the form of…a deer! A bird! A dog! Whatever it takes for our Hero to protect the magical existence of all things cute and cuddly from a power-hungry wizard!

The next book we read was the Cody vs the Scribble Monster.  It was a really cute book but Cody new you aren’t supposed to scribble on the wall.  The Scribble Monster comes after him and it takes him awhile to make friends with him.  A little mischief is harmless, you say? Well, not when it takes on a life of its own and chases you all over the city!

Of course we couldn’t read them all in one day with the short attention span that kids have.  We read one a day and he was happy with that.  On to the next one.  Cody and the Stonkeropolous.  When a frightening screech sends the town soldiers running to their mommies, our Hero sets out to face off with the mysterious beast alone!

Then on to the next.  Cody in Gadgetland. Every kid loves to play with gadgets and Cody is no exception.  In a world of gadgets and machines, our Hero sets out on a crazy adventure to find a cure for a patient with a VERY bizarre ailment!

All in all, we both loved the books.  I think his favorite and mine was too was the first one, Cody in the Great Escape of Mighty Star!  Cody is kind of shy to begin with so I think the story kind of fits him.

These books would make a great Christmas present for those little ones.  They start at $6.99, so they are very affordable.  You can get it in download form, Hardcover and Softcover.   It makes a great stocking stuffer too.

My rating for Champion Me Books is 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.  They are offering a credit for a softcover Champion Me Book and all you have to do is enter on the Rafflecopter below.  Good Luck!
