Take the Family on the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise in Destin, Fl!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of joining 23 bloggers on Brandcation in Destin, Florida.  One of the things we got to do was to go on the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise.  We all got dressed up as pirates and had the time of our life.  Our pirate cruise was comped on the trip but there are many things I paid for myself.  All opinions stated are 100% my own and may differ from yours.  You can follow my  Gulf Coast posts, like my  post about Destin Snorkel and Emerald Grande.

I was kind of scared to go because I wasn’t sure if I would get sea legs or not.  I was surprised while we were on the ship that you didn’t even know that we were on water.  When we first arrived, we went upstairs to eat dinner which was served compliments of Jim N Nick’s BBQ.  It was the best BBQ that I have ever had.  But more about that in another post.

After dinner, the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise show was to begin.  We were on the Friday night Adult only cruise but they also have family cruises available.  They started off by shooting the canons.  That was really loud but cool at the same time.  I video’d it so my grandson Cody could see it.  He would love to go on the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise.

One of the girls was chosen as an example.  It was really funny.  Next up there was 3 teams chosen that had to move a beach ball across the floor.  It was hilarious.  We couldn’t stop laughing.

Next up, 4 girls got wrapped with cellophane.  Then they had to break a balloon between them.  We also formed a circle and moved hula hoops between us and over us without letting go of the next persons hand.  We finished up the night with some dancing.

I can’t even tell you how long we were on the pirate cruise because time just seemed to fly by.  You can follow Buccaneer Pirate Cruise on Facebook and Twitter and get more information on their website. They have a spring special going on right now if you book online.  Adults for $29.00 and children 4 – 14 are $16.50.  It’s something the entire family will enjoy.  I can’t wait to go again with my husband.
