Don’t Have Time To Cook? You Can Use Frozen Taquitos Too!
We get it – life is busy and we definitely won’t judge if you want to take a shortcut for dinner sometimes, we actually encourage it!
Below is an optional set of instructions for making frozen taquitos in your air fryer. Now, please keep in mind that most frozen taquitos will NOT be Weight Watchers eligible – so if you are focusing on points, then making them from scratch above is definitely the better – and healthier option.
Ingredients
- 1 bag or box of your favorite frozen taquitos
Instructions
- Remove your air fryer basket and spray it with some oil to keep the taquitos from sticking.
- Place taquitos in the basket in a single layer so they are not overlapping each other. Typically 5 or 6 fit well depending on air fryer size.
- Cook at 400 degrees for about 7 minutes then turn them over
- Cook at 400 degrees for another 7 minutes.
- Remove – and enjoy!

Made these for dinner tonight. Came out great. I used low carb tortillas and Monterrey jack cheese😋
Patricia
These look great! Do you have any recommendations for which air friyer works best
Jill
Hi Patricia! There a lot of great ones out there – it kind of depends on the size you would need so make sure you get one big enough for your families needs. Our personal favorite is the Ninja Air Fryer
Kelli
Hi, I loved this recipe and I was wondering about the calories I saw at the bottom, are there really over 3,000 calories in five of the taquitos?
Jill
OMG No! Thank you for catching that! We just changed to a new software that is supposed to calculate it – clearly it is not accurate! We just updated the details to be more accurate!
