Camaro Car Show ~ Fun
Well, it’s been a very busy weekend. But we haven’t had a weekend out like this in a very, very long time. So it was well deserved. It’s the start of our Summer Travel Plans and there is so much more to go. But we will be live blogging all the way. We got the car all ready to go. Washed, Waxed, Leather shining and vacuumed.
To start out the weekend, on Saturday we went to the Sunshine State Camaro Rally. It was their 2nd one and I think they had a pretty good turnout. When we registered, we were number 119. The only thing wrong with the whole entire weekend was it was pretty darn cold (for us Floridians anyway). It was only a high of 60 both days and we had a wind advisory to go along with it. That means it felt like 50! We were freezing, I got a little wind burn on my face, but it was all worth it. We had a great time.
The Camaro Rally was held at the Mystic Dunes Resort in Celebration, Fl, so it was only about 2o miles from our house. There were lots of Camaro’s and lots of trophy’s. Unfortunately, we didn’t win anything but that’s okay.
As you can see, everyone was frozen. Some had winter jackets and long pants. We don’t own either because hey, we live in Florida and we don’t need them, right? Wrong!
There were cars from all over. We saw PA, NY, and MI to name a few. Not sure who won the farthest drive though. There were Camaro’s with Nitrous, TV’s in the truck (yes, I said TV’s in the trunk), Ghost Flames (love them), and Lambo Doors.
Looking for some Super Chargers? There were just about every kind on the Camaro.
There was a loudest Stereo Sound Off. A couple roll bars for the Camaro. If you wanted some Louvres put in your hood, you could get them. Want to see how many horsepower your car has? The Dino Machine was there.
The Camaro Show was to benefit Give Kids The World Village. They had a Camaro Parade on Friday night from the Resort to Kids Village, but we couldn’t make it. Maybe next year.
We were trying for the loudest V8 Exhaust Competition but we missed out by 2 decibals. We only had 123 and the winner had 125.
There were cars with nice rims, even one decked out like a ’57 Chevy.
Got a free hat and coozie from Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, Fl., a free t-shirt from Lashway Motorsports in Pompano Beach, Fl.
All in all, we had a great time. Looking forward to summer and the rest of our plans. Tune in tomorrow to see the fun we had at the Florida Strawberry Festival. Yummy!
Thanks for stopping by.

That looks like a lot of fun! That is one really nice car, my hubby would love it. We live in FL too and we where all wearing our winter coats this weekend (we spent Christmas “up north” with family so we had to buy winter stuff for everyone).
We don’t go up North for Christmas, only in the summer and even then we have worn winter coats and gloves for the 4th of July (3 years ago). I gave away all my winter clothes when we moved to Florida, didn’t think I would need them like this weekend.
Sweeeet cars!! Love the red one!!
I’m surprised my hubby still has it. He goes through cars like candy. lol
OMG how cool is that!! Those cars are awesome, the super chargers are impressive too, wow.
Yeah, that’s the next thing my husband wants. I told him to keep dreaming. lol I keep asking him we need that why?
Love it! My father in law has a camero and is always at the car shows!
Cool, maybe we will run into him someday.
