When I seen the review opportunity to transfer VHS tapes to DVD from Denevi Digital Imaging, I jumped at the chance. I had some old VHS tapes from many, many years ago. I knew some of the stuff that was on them like my son’s roller skating party and the other one had my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary on it.
What I didn’t realize was who was going to be on the videos. I haven’t had a VCR in probably a good 10 years. I sent in my 2 VHS tapes to Denevi Digital Imaging and I was a little scared. Back in the old days, I remember sending in rolls of film to have developed and occasionally they would get lost. These were the only VHS tapes I had with my dad on them. My dad is gone almost 20 years now and I didn’t want them to get lost.
I found out I didn’t have to worry about that. They ship to and from by Fedex. I sent in my 2 tapes. The first one of my son’s roller skating birthday party, I didn’t realize only had 12 minutes on it. The second one was of my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and was 77 minutes long.
Some of the tapes had some bad spots on them that they tried to improve but couldn’t. I don’t even remember whose video recorder it was. I never had one. They did a fantastic job though. From the time I sent them in until the time I got them back, it was only a couple weeks.
I wanted to show you some of the video, but I couldn’t figure out how to get it on my computer. I started to play them on my computer but when I saw who was on them, I wanted to see it on the big screen. So I popped it my DVD player. When I started watching it, it made me cry. My dad, my sister and my brother in law were all there skating. They are all gone now, and I have these wonderful memories.

The same goes for the second DVD. It was of my parents 50th Anniversary and again, there are a lot of family members on there dancing away and having a blast that are no longer with us.
My uncle was just recently asking me if I knew of anywhere that would be able to transfer 8 mm tapes. I didn’t have a clue. But after reading up on Denevi website I found they can do that too. They have also recently added photo recovery and photo restoration services which I would like to try out someday. I have some old photos of my parents that are quite faded and hard to see and I would love to have them restored.
Now that I think about it, this would make an awesome Christmas gift for someone. If you have any old VHS tapes or 8 mm or old pictures that need to be restored, check them out. This would make a Christmas gift they won’t soon forget.
You can visit them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or their blog. Stop by and see what they have to offer and tell them Plum Crazy About Coupons sent you.
There are no words to express my gratitude about Denevi Digital Imaging. These are memories that I am going to have with me forever and I will be able to pass down to my kids to remember their grandparents.
My rating for Denevi Digital Imaging is 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. If I could give them a 10 I would!
