I have always loved the 50′s styles and the 50′s music. Even though I wasn’t born until 1959, I still love everything 50′s. That’s why I chose the Amazing Women’s Costume Poodle Skirt Costume from AnytimeCostumes.com! They have the most fashionable costumes around.
I ordered a 3x because I’m always afraid that things are going to run too small, so I always order bigger. I usually wear a 2x in most clothing. I must say that their costumes are pretty true to size. The 3x was a little big but it’ll work.
The top is velvety soft and the skirt is almost like a felt. It has an elastic waistband so I didn’t have to worry about it fitting. It came with the little black scarf to tie around my neck. I always loved the look of the poodle skirts.
It is made of 100% Polyester and I think the only downside to this costume is that it is dry clean only.
This doesn’t only have to be for Halloween, when I was younger, we always went to 50′s dances that I would have loved to wear this to. Also, we have a place called Old Town here in Kissimmee, Fl where they have old cars every Saturday night. They also do a cruise at the end of the night and if I wore this there, I wouldn’t feel out of place at all. They have a bandstand in the center where they play oldies all evening too.
