I was given the opportunity to review and giveaway a few Gluten Free products from Namaste Gluten Free Foods.  I was excited about the news because my Dr. has told me to try a Gluten Free diet for my Crohn’s.

Namaste has Worry-free products – Our facility contains no wheat, gluten, corn, soy, potato, dairy, peanuts or tree nuts. It is our attempt to try to eliminate any chance of cross-contamination so you can enjoy Namaste Foods products worry-free. We use NO genetically modified ingredients in any of our products and yes, all Namaste Food products are Kosher Certified.

I received 2 products, one was a Gluten Free Cookie Mix and the other was a Gluten Free Blondie Mix and a very nice tote.  They also carry Pizza Crust, Pasta, Flour Blends, Muffins, Pancake and Waffle Mix and a whole lot more.

I made the Gluten Free Cookie Mix first.  It was really simple to make.  Just add eggs, oil and water.  You can make it with those ingredients or you can add some chocolate chips, nuts, coconut or what ever you would like.  The possibilities are endless. I however chose mini chocolate chips.

Then I just dropped it onto the pan with my little melon baller and tossed it into the oven to cook.  The smell in the house from the baking cookies was heavenly.

I let them bake until they were slightly browned and took them out of the oven to cool.  They didn’t have much cooling time though because they smelled so good that no one could wait!  I know they don’t look as nice as the ones they have posted on their website, but I’m sure they tasted the same.

I haven’t tried the Namaste Gluten Free Blondie Mix yet, only because I am supposed to be on a diet.  If I make them I will eat them.  So I will save it for our next get together.

How did we like the Namaste Gluten Free Cookies?  We loved them.  Everyone said they tasted like sugar cookies.  Did I tell them that they were Gluten Free?  Absolutely not, only because  I wanted to see what their reaction was going to be.

Would I recommend them?  Yes I would.  I am actually looking forward to our next get together so that I have a reason to make the Namaste Gluten Free Blondie mix. (smile)
