Plum Crazy About Coupons has had the opportunity to do a review on Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. I have heard about coconut oil but never really paid attention to it. So when offered I took them up on it.
I wasn’t really sure what to do with it so I looked up on the Tropical Traditions Home Page for some recipe ideas. I couldn’t believe there were so many recipes. I decided to use it in my deep fryer.
I made some Pierogi’s in it and I also fried some Potato Pancakes in it. They were both absolutely awesome. They both had a little sweeter taste than normal and I was very happy with the way they turned out.
I have read that it can also be used in baking. I was wondering why some recipes called for solid coconut oil and it’s because the Coconut Oil is liquid above 76°. Below it solidifies.
I would highly recommend this product. My rating is 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
